Geocache Description:

Located on the now defunct double-deck Rock Island Swing Bridge in Inver Grove Heights, MN.
***Start on the West side of the river to avoid the petroleum police***

More recently known as the J.A.R. toll bridge, it connected Inver Grove Heights with St. Paul Park across the Mississippi river. This structure was built in the 1880's and is no longer being used for vehicle or locomotive traffic, but is very effective as a walking pier or scenic vantage point.

Less than a .25mi walk on pavement from parking near the road closed sign at N44 51.195 W93 00.915
