Geocache Description:

Park and go through the science center to the back door. The trail begins there. It is well packed, but may get muddy. There are many steps built onto the bluff.

This is one of a string of Lewis and Clark geocaches along the Nebraska and Iowa borders of the Missouri River. This cache was placed with permission of the land owner and local help on the cache placement and lid contents.
The wildlife abounds in these bluffs of loess soil. If you don't see the animals, there are footprints and sounds galore. The view you see from the top of the bluff is extraordinary. It isn't difficult to imagine the beauty the Corps of Discovery found in this area of their journey as you follow the trails. The center doesn't open on Sundays until 1:00PM and is closed on Mondays.
