You want to find the “loop trail” and head in the direction the golf balls are flying. It’s roughly ½ mile from the parking lot. You are looking for a green, medium-sized ammo box.

After 3 years of experience, here are some new rules:
1. No golf balls. These all belong on the driving range.
2. No business cards. This cache is for kids.
3. No cheap treasures. Leave a treasure worth about $1.
4. Leave children-oriented treasure.
5. No junk (product samples, drugs, coupons, matches)
Thanks to RossTribe for "saving" this cache from vandals. Tahoe Donner Family 2 was destroyed in 2004 by something, perhaps an animal on 2 legs. 6/03.

IMPORTANT - This cache is among trees, so GPS readings are not as accurate. Assume plus or minus 3 units for long and lat (e.g., 20.821 is really .818 to .824). I upgraded the difficulty to 2/2 based on the new rating system. This is easy for kids, but is not wheelchair accessible. Updated 7/31/05.
