Geocache Description:

An offset cache featuring a tour of a sampling of the historic homes in Eau Claire, WI.

The Chippewa Valley has a unique and rich history. This offset cache features a tour of some of our favorite historic homes.

At these homes, you will find historic markers to help you answer questions about the architecture of the home, information about the original owners, or some other piece of trivia about the home and its role in the development of the city of Eau Claire during the prosperous period of the wealthy lumber barons. To find the eight clues, you can travel on roads (by car) and/or on sidewalks (on foot).

After piecing together the answers to the clues, the location of the final cache will take you to a beautiful park trail along a flowing river. The wood chipped trail is in good condition.
Parking may be difficult for the final location, so some planning ahead if driving may be in order... but it is definitely doable.
The solution key should help you come up with the final coordinates to the hidden cache. The cache is a clear plastic container with a white top. Good luck!
