Kohtla(se) Traditional Cache
Pohatu Nuva: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

The stash was hidden on July 04th 2003 by Henri (6) Leanika, Tarmo,
Jaanika, Toomas. Location of the hideout was chosen with assistance
of 4-legged K9, commonly called Urss.
The stash has been hidden on artificial landscape, type of terrain
2, stash 2, onto glass container. The highest local artificial
mountain is located nearby, and there is quite a view from the top!
Another close object of interest is the oil-shale mining museum,
where you can enter the underground world, and see what the life of
a Soviet miner was like. NB! The road that leads to Kohtla-Nõmme,
comes in only from the East (Kohtla-Järve's side). Although the
road map shows a nice road directly from Tallinn, this road goes
through an opened mine, and you need a special local permit to use
i; the guards are neither English-speaking nor friendly. The stash
contains: -logbook and pen; -post-its; -facial cleanser from
Christian Breton; -pieces of sea-glass (visit the Nothern coast to
find somemore by yourself); -salt; -decorative candle --

tehismaastikul, maastikutüüp 2, aare2, ja on peidetud klaaspurki.
Aarde läheduses asub kohalik kõrgeim tehismägi, mille otsast avaneb
suurepärane vaade lähedale ja kaugemale, samuti on pisut edasi
minnes võimalik külastada kaevanduspark-muuseumi ja käia ehtsas
maa-aluses põlevkivikaevanduses koos kaevurivarustusega. Samuti
asub koha vahetus läheduses kohalik söerada. Kuna kohalikud
lastekodulapsed tavatsevad tehismaastikul mängida, on teoreetiline
võimalus, et purki on jäetud ainult logiraamat, vastav slaavikeelne
palve sisaldub logiraamatus endas. Mõned panijatest lubavad
siinkohal aarde seisukorda ca iga kuu aja tagant kontrollimas käia.
NB! Autotee Kohtla-Nõmmele viib ainult Kohtla-Järve poolt. Tallinna
poolt tulles on tee küll kaardil tähistatud, kuid tegemist on Aidu
karjääri territooriumiga, kus võib sõita ainult läbipääsuloaga. Oma
läbirääkimisoskustele tõkkepuude valvurite juures ei tasu erilist
rõhku panna, kuna üldiselt ei õnnestu.
