Overdue RCC received a call at 2310 from a concerned wife that her husband and friends departed HYC at 0500 on a day long fishing trip and were scheduled to return home by 1800, RCC sent out several overdue radio broadcast via channel 16. At 0013 the Towboat Miss K D contacted RCC and reported she spotted the F/V matching the description at .8 NM from his last position above bearing 170 degrees. A patrol boat intercepted the course and found the F/V with 3 POB who passed out and were asleep and wasn’t monitoring the radio. F/V was escorted safely to its moorings. You can find where this hideaway is and log an entry. Case Closed. 1 sortie
