This cache can now be searched and found like any other traditional cache.

 “This is a place of some mystery. Place of magical and contemplation quality. There’s evidence of human presence and influence since the Neolithic Period. Inhabited since prehistory times, known as “Cyntia” (Moon) to the Celts. “Mons Lunae” (Moon’s Mount) to the Romans. “Xentra” to the Arabs and later the medieval “Sentria” or “Suntria” (Shinning Star”).

From the top, in a clear, sunny day it can be seen at south, Cape Espichel and Arrabida Mountain and at north, Cape Carvoeiro and Berlengas Islands. One can also comtemplate the whole range of Sintra Mountain while feeling the wind.

The Hunt:

There’s a pic-nic area in Fonte das Pedras Irmãs (Sister Rocks Fountain) at N38º46.293 W 009º27.306 where you can leave your cachemobile or you can park it at N 38º46.155 W 009º27.536.

The best way to approach the cache is at N 38º46.100 W 009º27.620.
