Nestled in the center of a growing community, Evans Park is a relaxing place to spend some time caching.
This cache is in a neighborhood park in Adel. The features of the location that I could see were walking paths, a shelter, grill, sand volleyball court and rolling landscape. It has parking within feet of the cache and the terrain is flat. The cache is a QT sz container. There is a sign posted in the parking area that states that the Evans Park is closed from 11pm-6am and that this is enforced.
Original contents include: gem frame, Hot Wheels car, paperweight clip, necklace, charm bracelet, Dog Pouch with hair ties, Magna Doodle top, log book, pencil & ASPEN'S TIGERLILY TB
UPDATE (5/31/05) - I visited the cache to drop off a TB and they just installed brand new playground equipment - very nice stuff! It looks like they are in the process of building restrooms also.
UPDATE (12/31/05) - I had to relocate the cache because of lightening hitting a tree next to the original cache. Restocked and updated coords for new location, but in the same park. HAPPY NEW YEAR!
