While Geocaching.com would like to continue to hold the location for you, doing so blocks other cachers from placing caches in the area. We feel that this cache has been down for a period of time exceeding what is reasonable for the area, and thus I regretfully must archive it.

If you are able to get out and replace the cache, simply drop me a note and let me know the GC waypoint number of the cache or better yet, the URL of the cache page. I will be more than happy to take a look at it to see if it is still is within the guidelines of the Geocaching.com website for cache placement and posting.

Geocache Description:

This cache is located on the far side of Little Presque Isle. The best parking for this is at the Little Presque Isle point parking area located right across from Harlow Lake Road off of CR550.

LITTLE PRESQUE IS AN ISLAND. You will have to wade out to the island and you will most likely get a little wet. The water usually goes up to just below your hips but the waves can get a little bigger at times. Once you are on the island you will follow a path along the east side of the island and follow that all the way to the back where the terrain gets very rocky. This cache is a one gallon plastic container. The starting contents are a whistle, a rain poncho, a Canadian dollar, key chain, pen, lighter and log book. Take your camera. This one could also be done by paddling to the back side of the island. Adventurous folks only on this one due to what it takes to get to the cache. Should be a very rewarding find. Have fun exploring.
