A GREAT SPRING CACHE TO FIND AS THE TREES BLOOM
A quick n' easy find in scenic Murphy Park on Dubuque's SW side. Stop by, find the cache, enjoy the scenic view of the downtown and the Mississippi River, and then enjoy the park. The park features shelters, play ground equipment, many picnic tables, and lots of green, scenic beauty.
NOTE: This is a semi-seasonal cache. The park is generally open sunrise to sunset, Memorial Day through Labor Day. During various times before and after the park season, the "man-gate" is open for pedestrian traffic. The park has a holiday "Festival of Lights" that completely closes the park to all traffic during the set up of the displays (set up starts in late October/early November) but is open occasionally to foot and/or car traffic. Cachers have gone to the light display and stopped to grab the cache.
