SomewhereInIA-Virtual Dog Day Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

SuperGoober: Recently I received a message that the store employees were not aware of a Geocache being placed in the store.
This store has changed management over the years so this didn’t surprise me.
I stopped by today and asked a the Manager if she was aware of a Geocache being placed in the store.
She was not aware of a Geocache being placed in the store and didn’t know what Geocaching was.
I explained what Geocaching was and that this Geocache had been placed in the store in October 2006.
I took her to the location of the Geocache and showed it to her.
I asked her if it was OK for the Geocache to remain in the store.
I let her know that it could remain here (or) I could remove it.
She asked that I remove it so I did.
Thanks to all that have found this Cache!
I’m going to try to create one similar to it and place it in a different location.

Geocache Description:

Indoor Cache, but of course it can't be that easy. First, you have to help a dog, have his day.
'Hay Dog' originally had his day in ND, and recently moved to the area
This is in a retail store, so it has limited hours of operation.

Don't be a geocheater enabler, or you will be bitten

If you (or your kid) would be interested in creating a similar puzzle, I would gladly be willing to help. It does not require too much programing skills, and if you do all the leg work, I would even be willing to write the program for you. Just need the following:
  • A map of the rooms Rooms (such as Bed, Yard, Deck, etc..)
  • Contents of each room
  • What you have to do to get to next room, such as (sniff..., north, east, climb, jump, etc...)
  • Puzzles or actions that need to be performed along the way.
  • Humor (such as peeing on the flowers)
  • Camos by other geocachers.
  • More humor.
  • Lat/Lon
To get more ideas, here are 2 other 'virtual' caches, which are a little harder then Virtual Dog Day
  • GCJY6B The Adventures of 1Geocacher
  • GCW669 SomeVirtualAdventure-Out of gas! (mine)
