This letter box hybrid cache is the first in the GPD series of
caches for 2007. Each cache will be associated with a specific tree
and will educate you to a natural threat to this type of tree.
At the trail crossing along the drive,
Is where you should park when you arrive.
The way is best found in the dark,
With a flashlight to see your mark.
Every hundred feet or so,
A marker shows the way to go.
In the beam of your bright light,
Look for the reflecting red and white.
White means right and red means straight,
But two reds indicate a left to make.
In the darkness keep alert,
For every bridge, tree or root.
When you find three markers red,
Off the trail you must go instead.
If a “Beech” tree should appear,
Red and white shows you are here.
This cache expires January 1st 2008.
