Monday, September 27, 2010Islas Baleares, Spain

Wow, that was an exciting one. Not because of the Golf cours or the way the cache is hidden but due to the weather conditions. I never have been soaked so quickly not jumping into a pool. We have first attempted to find this cache on the 25th but had to abonden that attempt due to havy rain starting sudenly. The only thing that did not get compleatly soaked on that trip was our camera which we had in a rain tight backpack.

The rain "drops" where the biggest I have ever seen. The tree we tried to hide below got so much rain that it took what felt like no more then 30 seconds for the rain to penetrate all the leaves and our shelter was useles. So we tried to run for it but with no succes. We got to a shop close by where we could wait for the rain to fade away. Well, at least I can now be shure that the backpack realy is rain tight with the cover on.

Tak for cache.

infoThis is the original cache type consisting, at a bare minimum, a container and a log book. Normally you'll find a tupperware container, ammo box, or bucket filled with goodies, or smaller container ("micro cache") too small to contain items except for a log book. The coordinates listed on the traditional cache page is the exact location for the cache.
