Our first webcam cache! We've driven by here dozens of times over the years, but it always seems that it's right after the top of the hour. Today, we were passing by and we noticed it was just before noon. We quickly pulled in and I jumped out of the car while my better half parked it. Then, we stood there posing for the camera for a full 5 minutes just to make sure we got captured on the noon photo. When we got home, we saw that all that posing was for naught! Maybe the webcam's clock was a little fast... It captured me just as I was walking up to get in position! TFTC

infoA Webcam "cache" are caches that use existing web cameras placed by individuals or agencies that monitor various areas like parks or road conditions. The idea is to get yourself in front of the camera to log your visit. The challenging part, however, it that you need to call a friend to look up the web site that displays the camera shot. You will need to have them to save the picture to log the cache. You could also use your wireless modem or cell phoneand save the image yourself on your laptop. Webcam caches are now in the Web Camera category on Waymarking.com
