Found it twilighter found Mine Falls Park Wherigo Geocache

Saturday, July 11, 2015New Hampshire

After the nearby event, we went and grabbed a quick lunch and came back to try our hand at our first Wherigo cache. It certainly was a long & scenic hike... and the last time we hiked this much (in one day) in Mines Falls was over 30 years ago. It was nice to revisit some trails I haven't been on in years.

We never attempted a Wherigo cache before today because our Garmins are newer models that no longer support Wherigo... but, we discovered that our older nuvi 500 has the capability and works just fine. Along the way, I crossed paths with PRINC3SS & TAG, who we had seen earlier at the event, and we had a nice chat. Had no problems at any of the points along the way (except not crossing one footbridge and ending up on the wrong side of the canal -- which added and extra .7 miles to the trip). And, after completing the two and a half hour hike, we found the cache pretty quickly at the final. Thanks for the well-designed tour. Giving it a well-deserved favorite point.

infoA Wherigo geocache uses your Wherigo cartridge to lead you ultimately to the physical geocache location. The cartridges must reside at If a cartridge is used as a requirement to find a geocache, it is considered a Wherigo cache, regardless of whether it may also have a puzzle or multi-cache component.
