Find #10,000!!!

We wanted to do something special for our 10,000th find, so we decided to head up north to Mt. Washington. We started the day with 9,997 finds and picked up 2 quick ones before getting to the Cog Railway station. We planned to take the Cog to the top and find the Mt Washington 9/11 Memorial as our 10,000th, and then maybe do the Mount Washington Webcam. But, it was not to be. When we tried to buy our tickets, they told us the train was only going up half way to the top today. We asked if it was because of the snow... They said it was the high winds today. And, hiking up was not an option, nor driving up the auto road. So, we went to Plan B: The Grand Old Hotel multi-cache.

It was very busy in the hotel today, and there were clear views of Washington from the back deck. After a little searching, we found the answers and proceeded to the final coords. It took a little careful climbing to get to the cache, but #10,000 was soon in hand. TNLNSL. TFTC

infoA multi-cache ("multiple") involves two or more locations, the final location being a physical container. There are many variations, but most multi-caches have a hint to find the second cache, and the second cache has hints to the third, and so on. An offset cache (where you go to a location and get hints to the actual cache) is considered a multi-cache.
