A nice little puzzle which I solved last night. It was much too late to look for the cache then, so we woke up early and set off to get it. However when we arrived at about 8:30 we found some cachers already there: the Woking Wonders (who had been out looking for it last night) and another cacher (Shona? sorry but I don't quite remember your name). We searched for nearly an hour gradually increasing the search radius but finally we all gave up.

When we got back home again I was about to log a DNF when I found that the owner had discovered an error in the formula. So armed with the corrected co-ordinates and an updated hint we set off again. We rang the WWs on the way there with an offer of a shared FTF but sadly they were busy. The GPS was a bit unsure at the GZ but we knew the direction we ought to be going and with the hint it was an easy find.

We took the little Panic Attack robot, and left a staple remover and a scary looking mask on a keyring

infoA Mystery Cache is the “catch-all” of cache types, this form of cache can involve complicated puzzles you will first need to solve to determine the coordinates. The only commonality of this cache type is that the coordinates listed are not of the actual cache location but a general reference point, such as a nearby parking location. Due to the increasing creativity of geocaching this becomes the staging ground for new and unique challenges.
