Found it Team Mumu found Leatherman's Circuit - Helicker's Cave

Wednesday, May 10, 2006New York

I saw this new cache pop up this morning and decided it would be a good one to log as our 800th find. I recently checked out a video about the Leatherman from the Pound Ridge Library. This 30min short video from 1984 is called "The Road Between Heaven and Hell: The Last Circuits of the Leatherman." It shows the Leathman's burial place and the cave in Mt. Pleasant where he was found dead. Here's a link with more about his route: http://www.leathermansloop.org/legend3.html .

As I pulled into the parking lot today, I saw a car with CT plates and knew there must be another cacher nearby. It was nice to meet DominoCT at the cache. We took each other's photos with the cache-camera, donning appropriate leatherman poses. Left fish geotoken #734 http://www.anadromous.net/geotokens/726-750.html .

Cheers,
Lynn

infoThis is the original cache type consisting, at a bare minimum, a container and a log book. Normally you'll find a tupperware container, ammo box, or bucket filled with goodies, or smaller container ("micro cache") too small to contain items except for a log book. The coordinates listed on the traditional cache page is the exact location for the cache.
