I figured out what this puzzle was about earlier this week but as I live >40km away I felt that I ought to confirm the co-ordinates with the cache owner before I tried looking for it. It was fortunate that I did as it turned out that two websites disagreed about one of the numbers. This ambiguity was removed by last night's change to the cache page, and so I set off to get it this morning.

It was a slow journey delayed first by roadworks and then two tractors crawling up Duncton Hill but I eventually arrived at the GZ. The GPSr didn't seem to want to help me and it took me 15 minutes until I finally discovered the cache. I was a lot wetter than when I started, and was very glad to find a clean log.

infoA Mystery Cache is the “catch-all” of cache types, this form of cache can involve complicated puzzles you will first need to solve to determine the coordinates. The only commonality of this cache type is that the coordinates listed are not of the actual cache location but a general reference point, such as a nearby parking location. Due to the increasing creativity of geocaching this becomes the staging ground for new and unique challenges.
