I solved this pretty quickly last night. When I got home this evening the geochecker was at 10 but surprisingly nobody had yet logged it.

Both children wanted to try for the ftf tonight. The omens weren't good after we'd spent 15 minutes in a traffic jam on the Farnham bypass. Then when we arrived, and we'd searched around for a few minutes, it suddenly dawned on me - I'd mistakenly printed out the map of the dummy co-ordinates (I thought this was going to be a simple cache & dash).

There then followed some embarrassed scribblings as I worked it all out again. We quickly found a closer parking spot and were soon at the GZ. It took about five minutes of searching before The Bobcat spotted something and there was the cache.

infoA Mystery Cache is the “catch-all” of cache types, this form of cache can involve complicated puzzles you will first need to solve to determine the coordinates. The only commonality of this cache type is that the coordinates listed are not of the actual cache location but a general reference point, such as a nearby parking location. Due to the increasing creativity of geocaching this becomes the staging ground for new and unique challenges.
