Sitting at the computer and "You've got mail" - four new cache notifications. Dismiss the first three as too far away. The fourth, however, while not close, isn't so bad. Besides, it's a Church Micro and will need collecting sooner or later, so why not right now?

A few minutes later and I'm on my way. At the Church the final co-ordinates are quickly calculated. At GZ the container is swiftly found. Open up and.... a blank log sheet!

Now, I've moved away from the hiding spot to avoid drawing any attention to it. As I turn around there's a man leaning his bike against the hiding spot. He takes a quick glance behind the box, giving himself away - it's another geocacher, just 3 minutes behind me, now that's close!

I introduce myself and we chat a while and then return to the Church where a third person arrives. (Sorry, a "senior" moment, both your names have vanished out of my memory!) Chat some more then head for home as I need to get properly prepared for a big day tomorrow.

infoA multi-cache ("multiple") involves two or more locations, the final location being a physical container. There are many variations, but most multi-caches have a hint to find the second cache, and the second cache has hints to the third, and so on. An offset cache (where you go to a location and get hints to the actual cache) is considered a multi-cache.
