Found it The Bolas Heathens found A Mere Sudoku Challenge 4 - White Mere

Monday, October 16, 2006West Midlands, United Kingdom

This one was a bit trickier as there were quite a few places it could be and houses overlooking where I though it might be with a lady sweeping the front path. I decided on the cautious approach and got into a conversation with her as I did not want her thinking I was up to no good.

I explained about our "treasure hunt" and she was fascinated by it all. I explained that I was collecting clues and she seemed ok about this. She did mention that the area to the right of the parking area on the edge of the mere is private property so to ask future finders to respect this.

Found the cache after a longer search than normal and noted the details.

I'm not convinced this one is wheelchair friendly as someone in a wheelchair could not get to the cache and would have to wait a few feet away from the cache. A buggy would have to be left a few feet from the cache too.

infoA Mystery Cache is the “catch-all” of cache types, this form of cache can involve complicated puzzles you will first need to solve to determine the coordinates. The only commonality of this cache type is that the coordinates listed are not of the actual cache location but a general reference point, such as a nearby parking location. Due to the increasing creativity of geocaching this becomes the staging ground for new and unique challenges.
