Found it The Bolas Heathens found A Mere Sudoku Challenge 6 - Hanmer

Monday, October 16, 2006North Wales, United Kingdom

Took a while to work out as the Sudoku's were indeed getting harder. I solved it first time but the co-ordinates it gave were taking me to somewhere miles away. I tried a second time and managed to solve the Sudoku with a different answer which thankfully made some very promising co-ordinates.

Drove over to Hanmer mere for a nice easy find. Another nice place and our first FTF in Wales .

Took one of the slips for the final cache and scratched my head for some time before admitting defeat and heading off for home.

Just cracked the puzzle (it's a real stinker of a puzzle and very tricky, but very rewarding when you do solve it ) so will probably dash out again in a minute to try and find the final cache.

Self portrait with the cache

infoA Mystery Cache is the “catch-all” of cache types, this form of cache can involve complicated puzzles you will first need to solve to determine the coordinates. The only commonality of this cache type is that the coordinates listed are not of the actual cache location but a general reference point, such as a nearby parking location. Due to the increasing creativity of geocaching this becomes the staging ground for new and unique challenges.
