Found it colincactus found England vs. The Rest of the World 1: Short ...

{*FTF*} at 10:25pm

I had the day off today and happened to check my emails at lunchtime just as I was planning to go out. A new Tjapukai puzzle!! The first of a new series!!! I spent fifteen minutes on it but got nowhere.

However I'd also noticed (and solved) a puzzle in Sussex. The FTF on that was beckoning so I decided to go for it instead. That turned out to be a good decision as we got the FTF there by only two minutes, and when I next checked this one had been disabled.

Then in the early evening something about this puzzle started playing on my mind. I hadn't taken a printout and both computers were being used for homework. At 8pm my daughter wanted to go to the gym, so when I got back home I grabbed my chance. I started making some progress and worked out a likely looking set of co-ordinates.

I passed the checker at 9:30 and then saw that the cache had now been re-enabled. I had to apologise to my wife as The Bobcat had been just off to bed, but he was now keen to try for the FTF. The chance of an FTF on a TJ puzzle doesn't come along every day.

We had a half hour journey and then fifteen minutes of searching in the rain at the GZ. The GPS didn't want to settle so I ignored it. Eventually we found the cache and were very happy to be first. Signed the log and left PartySmurf TB.

This is an excellent puzzle (its just how I like them - short and sweet). Welcome back TJ - the start of a new series and an immediate return to form.

infoA Mystery Cache is the “catch-all” of cache types, this form of cache can involve complicated puzzles you will first need to solve to determine the coordinates. The only commonality of this cache type is that the coordinates listed are not of the actual cache location but a general reference point, such as a nearby parking location. Due to the increasing creativity of geocaching this becomes the staging ground for new and unique challenges.
