Our 1200th cache!!!

7 of 19 on day 2 of our caching challenge to finish the excellent Alpha Quest series in the weekend.

We'd found TB1 in a cache 20 miles from home last week and then dashed out to the far side of Cambridge yesterday (140 miles) to get TB2 so after completing Alpha Quest-W we had everything we needed for this 5* cache.

Had a lovely walk to the cache and enjoyed the historical aspect to the cache site (had a good look round while we were here). Found the cache after a short search - would definitely recommend long sleeves for this one this time of year.

Took the Certificate 009 and 2 geocoins - thanks for thinking of us Roy - 2 nice shiny new icons for our profile .

We now have all the details for the final cache - Alpha Quest-Z - more of that later as we have a few other Alpha Quests to do in the meantime in order to earn our place in the Hall Of Fame.

Isaac with the cache

infoA Mystery Cache is the “catch-all” of cache types, this form of cache can involve complicated puzzles you will first need to solve to determine the coordinates. The only commonality of this cache type is that the coordinates listed are not of the actual cache location but a general reference point, such as a nearby parking location. Due to the increasing creativity of geocaching this becomes the staging ground for new and unique challenges.
