Our 1300th cache!!!

19 of 20 on a caching day out to North Wales with the intention of getting our 1300th find.

We've enjoyed the Guess Who? caches we've done near Oswestry so thought this would be an ideal one for our 1300th and indeed it was.

I parked by the pub in Gwaenysgor and had a lovely walk just as it was going dark to the cache. I missed the right turn I needed but soon found my way round to it and then spotted the cache quickly.

Retrieval was a little trickier as the last finder must have very long arms - ouch! As I was signing the log an Alsatian appeared round the corner and came over to say hello (really glad he was friendly) - I never did see his owner and he quickly ran off back towards the path.

Some great views from the cache site in the fading light.

infoThis is the original cache type consisting, at a bare minimum, a container and a log book. Normally you'll find a tupperware container, ammo box, or bucket filled with goodies, or smaller container ("micro cache") too small to contain items except for a log book. The coordinates listed on the traditional cache page is the exact location for the cache.
