Found it The Bolas Heathens found Let it snow!

Tuesday, December 26, 2006North West England, United Kingdom

FTF!!! @ 7:15pm

I'd looked at this one yesterday but did not get very far, so after returning from the in-laws this afternoon I had a flash of inspiration and bingo!

Faced with the option of yet more Christmas food or a nice drive and some night caching it was an easy decision.

I decided to park in a different location than the one suggested as we've been walking in this area before so knew my way from this end.

Had a lovely walk by torchlight to the cache. Just as I approached the cache site, my torch startled a lot of birds in the high branches and they all flew off en-masse, which was very spooky in the dark .

Found the cache with spot on co-ords in the second place I looked. Left The Posh Pup TB, Pisa TB and our P&T geocoin, took the IOM geocoin.

We loved the part of the cache which was quite frightening - what a great idea .

On the way home I was listening to Christmas songs on the radio and they played "Let It Snow" which was very appropriate .

Thanks for a fun cache Paul .

Self portrait with the cache

infoA Mystery Cache is the “catch-all” of cache types, this form of cache can involve complicated puzzles you will first need to solve to determine the coordinates. The only commonality of this cache type is that the coordinates listed are not of the actual cache location but a general reference point, such as a nearby parking location. Due to the increasing creativity of geocaching this becomes the staging ground for new and unique challenges.
