Back in October 2011 we started talking with Rolle63 about making a geocaching road trip to Budapest during our Easter break. Since then a lot of time has been put into solving puzzle caches and planning the trip. Today we started from Ry, Denmark at 5 am. Our two main goals of the day were to get as far South as Dresden and to visit a new country - Poland. We made several cache stops along the way, mostly easily accessible drive-by's. When we reached Hannover we ran into trouble as the road towards Braunschweig was blocked. That resulted in a de-tour, but as it turned out, a very interesting one! We happened to pass by a highly recommendable TB Museum (The Hitchhiker’s ride to Legacy – TB Museum) and we even came there within the opening hours. It was great to study those old geocoins! After more than 1100 km of driving (and finds in three countries) we parked at our hotel in Dresden and called it a day.

This cache was found at 19.55 af a nice walk from Germany to waypoint 1 and to the cache in Poland. This was our first find in Poland . (17800)

Thanks for the cache and greetings from Denmark!

infoA multi-cache ("multiple") involves two or more locations, the final location being a physical container. There are many variations, but most multi-caches have a hint to find the second cache, and the second cache has hints to the third, and so on. An offset cache (where you go to a location and get hints to the actual cache) is considered a multi-cache.
