Found it Team Mumu found Boston Cache

Sunday, January 21, 2007New York

Find #1000! Since we're in our 5th year of geocaching, it seemed appropriate to mark the 1000 milestone find by finding a few caches that date from the early days of the hobby. Since this one is one of the oldest caches near us that we hadn't yet found, it gets the honor of being #1000. To make that happen we had to actually walk past it to find Island Pond (another oldie) and then return here.

Found a comfortable, but cold rock to sit on while signing in, taking photos and getting a small bite of lunch. Dropped off fish token #882 http://www.anadromous.net/geotokens/876-900.html and a geocoin.

Cheers,
Lynn & John

infoThis is the original cache type consisting, at a bare minimum, a container and a log book. Normally you'll find a tupperware container, ammo box, or bucket filled with goodies, or smaller container ("micro cache") too small to contain items except for a log book. The coordinates listed on the traditional cache page is the exact location for the cache.
