Found it DK_Titan found Hárs-hegyi trail 38

Friday, April 6, 2012Budapest, Hungary

Back in October last year we started talking with Rolle63 about making a geocaching trip together during our Easter break. We decided to visit Budapest and spent many hours solving Budapest Puzzles during the winter months.

During our days in Budapest we managed to find 49 of the Budapest Puzzles, that we had solved. Despite the six DNF's we decided to take a look at the Bonus cache, and by means of the collected information, logical thinking and knowledge about the coordinates of other caches in the area we reduced the possible coordinates for the bonus cache significantly. Our third attempt at the geochecker resulted in green light. Therefore, our first stop today was this cache. We brought different equipment for terrain caches with us, and that turned out to be a good idea.

After this memorable cache we continued to the Hárs-hegyi trail, which turned out to be one of the best experiences of our trip. A very well-prepared walk in beautiful surroundings! We of course used the opportunity to also visit other caches in this area, including two nice 'oldies'. The weather was perfect today. Not to hot, and no rain until we returned to the parking lot.

The rest of the day was mainly used for hunting virtual and earth caches, which was a bit more demanding and difficult. Some of the required information was only available in Hungarian, and some of the locations for the virtual caches had changed significantly during the last decade. Nevertheless, we managed to find most of the caches, we went for.

This cache was found at 16:07. (18100)

Thanks for the cache and greetings from Denmark!

infoThis is the original cache type consisting, at a bare minimum, a container and a log book. Normally you'll find a tupperware container, ammo box, or bucket filled with goodies, or smaller container ("micro cache") too small to contain items except for a log book. The coordinates listed on the traditional cache page is the exact location for the cache.
