Found it DK_Titan found A Rest Ed

Sunday, May 27, 2012Oregon

For the third year in a row we are doing a geocaching road trip to the US in the spring. This year we will spend 3½ weeks driving from Las Vegas to Seattle (including a few days just north of the American/Canadian border).

Today we had the longest hotel-to-hotel distance of the entire road trip: 515 km (320 mi) from Boise, Idaho to Bend, Oregon. We were happy that our rental car was equipped with cruise control. Another good thing was, that this route offered plenty of nice caching opportunities, so we got many chances to stretch our legs (and more than enough cache finds to qualify for the "20 on 20 challenge cache"). We stopped at two earthcaches today, which resulted in a nice anniversary: 100 earthcache finds.

This was our first find in Oregon State. After signing the log at 9:45 we went into the visitor center for a cup of coffee and some insights about Oregon.

Thanks for the cache and greetings from Denmark!

infoThis is the original cache type consisting, at a bare minimum, a container and a log book. Normally you'll find a tupperware container, ammo box, or bucket filled with goodies, or smaller container ("micro cache") too small to contain items except for a log book. The coordinates listed on the traditional cache page is the exact location for the cache.
