For the third year in a row we are doing a geocaching road trip to the US in the spring. This year we will spend 3½ weeks driving from Las Vegas to Seattle (including a few days just north of the American/Canadian border).

Yesterday was the longest driving day of the whole road trip (going from Boise, Idaho to Bend, Oregon). It was therefore a great pleasure, that we could spend a relaxing day in the Bend area today. We started with a trip along the so-called Challenge Highway near Redmond which we enjoyed very much. On our way back towards Bend we discovered the "Hunt for Egg" series which offered a nice 3 hour hike. The rest of the day was spent within the city limits of Bend and included a trip to the top of Pilot Butte, where we enjoyed the nice view!

This cache was located at 11:56. Luckily we did not have to spend all that much time looking.

Thanks for the cache and greetings from Denmark!

infoThis is the original cache type consisting, at a bare minimum, a container and a log book. Normally you'll find a tupperware container, ammo box, or bucket filled with goodies, or smaller container ("micro cache") too small to contain items except for a log book. The coordinates listed on the traditional cache page is the exact location for the cache.
