Found it DK_Titan found Krusauer Tunneltal - Kupfermühle

Sunday, July 1, 2012Schleswig-Holstein, Germany

This weekend we went on a geocaching trip just south of the Danish/German border with our good friends Rolle63 and TBKC.

Yesterday we followed the ZdM trail from Dagebüll towards Flensburg, but we did not have enough time to get all the way to the other end of the trail at Flensburger Förde. The completion of the ZdM series was our main goal today, but before going there we visited the Entenhausen trail near Rendsburg and then headed north to the Schleswiger Kreisbahn. We did not have time to complete that series today, so that will have to wait until another trip. Before continuing our "ZdM project" we had a nice walk in a forest near Handewitt where we found a bunch of nice caches. We got another good opportunity for a walk in the "Kleine Tunneltal-Runde". After the great finale of the ZdM trail we found this very interesting earthcache. It was the last find of the weekend (and our find no. 21900).

Thanks for the quick permission to log and greetings from Denmark!

infoAn Earthcache is an educational form of a virtual cache. The reward for these caches is learning more about the planet on which we live - its landscapes, its geology or the minerals and fossils that are found there. Many Earthcaches are in National Parks. Some are multi-cache in form, and some have a physical log book located in or close to a Visitor Center. Earthcaches are developed in association with the Geological Society of America.
