Found it DK_Titan found 36 - Leisten's fetter Speck *

Sunday, October 14, 2012Sachsen-Anhalt, Germany

It has become a tradition that we make a geocaching trip to Germany in the middle of October every year. This year we headed for Niedersachsen and after spending a night in Bergen we continued to Bergen an der Dumme. We spent most of today in the "Leisten's fetter Speck" series, which was a nice déjà vu for us: Last year we had a 5½ hour walk in the "Schneller Fund" series, which was pretty much in the same area. This year we did not walk to all the caches, but in some portions of the trail we either couldn't (or did not want to) drive, and some caches were so close to each other that we preferred to park the car and walk between them. We were happy to find the series well maintained with very few wet log books. Furthermore, it is obvious that the cache owner has spent enough time to find proper hiding places. That made the series a great experience! The weather contributed to the experience as well. Most of the day we had nice sun shine, which made the autumn landscape look very pretty!

Thanks for this cache and greetings from Denmark!

infoThis is the original cache type consisting, at a bare minimum, a container and a log book. Normally you'll find a tupperware container, ammo box, or bucket filled with goodies, or smaller container ("micro cache") too small to contain items except for a log book. The coordinates listed on the traditional cache page is the exact location for the cache.
