Found it DK_Titan found 125 - Leisten's fetter Speck *

Monday, October 15, 2012Niedersachsen, Germany

It has become a tradition that we make a geocaching trip to Germany in the middle of October every year. This year we headed for Niedersachsen and after spending a night in Bergen we continued to Bergen an der Dumme. Yesterday we spent most of the day along the Leisten's fetter Speck route. However, we had no intention of breaking any speed records and wanted to also have time to walk to a bunch of the caches, so when we woke up this morning, we could still look forward to visiting the last part of the trail. There were also a number of other caches in the area, which we found during and after the completion of the trail.

In the afternoon we headed for Salzwedel to get something to eat and afterwards continued to a nice walking series near Kuhfelde. After that we headed North in order to spend the last part of the day in the Göhrde series. On our way there, we witnessed a car crash, which luckily didn't seem to result in personal injury!

Thanks for this cache and greetings from Denmark!

infoThis is the original cache type consisting, at a bare minimum, a container and a log book. Normally you'll find a tupperware container, ammo box, or bucket filled with goodies, or smaller container ("micro cache") too small to contain items except for a log book. The coordinates listed on the traditional cache page is the exact location for the cache.
