Found it NevadaWolf found Diehard's Diversion

Friday, June 1, 2007Nevada

Well, I need to do the occasional cache to reinforce my reputation that I'm just completely out of my mind. This qualifies!

Hiked up with Mamma Gravy to Eagle's Nest where she decided she was going to start back. Insanity kicked in and I declared I was going to go on before I learned that I was out of water. She kindly offered her last bottle to me and off we went on our separate ways.

Not sure which way GreenJack went when he encountered the sheer dry waterfall - I went straight up. Then took your advice to hit American Dipper after this cache and was pleasantly surprised when I found myself at the top. Great views all around and a proud moment as I soaked in the fact that I'd made it.

Thanks for the challenge... now how do I get down?

Dry WaterfallHard to see, but the brighter rocks in the lower middle are straight up.

infoThis is the original cache type consisting, at a bare minimum, a container and a log book. Normally you'll find a tupperware container, ammo box, or bucket filled with goodies, or smaller container ("micro cache") too small to contain items except for a log book. The coordinates listed on the traditional cache page is the exact location for the cache.
