Found it BaSHful found Sadex's Spire - AA1

Wednesday, 06 February 2013South East England, United Kingdom

FTF at 9:55am.

Woke up, got up, had breakfast, had a shower, got dressed, turned on the computer, checked email. Oh my God, there's another one been published! Drag my protesting battered and bruised body down the stairs and out of the house. Fortunately by now the car knows its way to the parking spot.

Grab the gear, which now lives permanently in the car boot, and set off down a familiar path. At GZ the required tree is quickly identified and the cache container spotted way up above me. I'm getting better with the catapult and the second attempt gets the throw line over a suitable branch. Just one problem, when I try to pull up the rope it gets stuck and refuses to go past a "V" between a branch and a smaller branch!

Back to square one. Give the catapult a bit more oomph and my third attempt soars over a slightly higher branch and this time I am able to pull the rope over. All set then and everything double checked, so no excuse not to get on with it. Body protesting I start the ascent, which goes well enough. Just short of the prize I become aware of dogs and a dog owner below me and I feel it incumbent on me to explain what I'm about. I'm not sure how mad he thought me but after a few minutes conversation he went on his way.

Final effort and up to the cache where I make myself secure and as comfortable as possible. Open up the container and.... yes, it's a blank log. Sign it, return it, check everything is in order and now it's time to return to terra firma. 20 minutes up and 1 down again. Another one ticked off. How long until the next is published.....?

BaSHful.

PS. Fav point, of course.

Proof.
infoThis is the original cache type consisting, at a bare minimum, a container and a log book. Normally you'll find a tupperware container, ammo box, or bucket filled with goodies, or smaller container ("micro cache") too small to contain items except for a log book. The coordinates listed on the traditional cache page is the exact location for the cache.
