I checked for new caches just as I was about to leave work. Aha! a new one by Ice Cold, and just my sort of puzzle. So I quickly printed it off to look at on the train home.

With that delay I only just made it to Dorking station on time, but I set to work immediately. I'd found where most of the 45 caches were by the we'd reached Gomshall, and had the decode all worked out just after Shalford. A really enjoyable puzzle.

It all seemed ok but I thought I'd better give Bobcat a quick call to see if it passed the geochecker. After a short delay he confirmed it did, and we were the first ones through.

I got home to find that my daughter wanted to come along too (she's only interested in the FTFs nowadays). So after a quick change I was out the door again. We parked up and had a leisurely walk to the GZ.

A quick find by Bobcat - we were really pleased to be first.

Swapped toy tank for bottle opener.

infoA Mystery Cache is the “catch-all” of cache types, this form of cache can involve complicated puzzles you will first need to solve to determine the coordinates. The only commonality of this cache type is that the coordinates listed are not of the actual cache location but a general reference point, such as a nearby parking location. Due to the increasing creativity of geocaching this becomes the staging ground for new and unique challenges.
