Found it DK_Titan found 062 Owyhee Uplands Byway

Friday, May 24, 2013Idaho

One day nine of our geocaching roadtrip in the US we had planned to go caching along the Owyhee Uplands Byway. However, the day did not go entirely as expected. We started out by visiting a gas station close to our hotel and then headed towards Walmart for some food, but before reaching the parking lot we became aware that there was something wrong with the air pressure in one of the tires. It turned out, that we had driven a screw into the tire which was now completely flat. Good thing that it happened here and not somewhere along the Owyhee Uplands Byway (or even worse on a deserted dirt road).

This incident gave us a detour to Alamo in Boise, who were extremely polite and just switched our car for a new one. Great customer care!

Somewhat late we arrived at the Owyhee Uplands Byway at 12:50 and started caching.

This cache was found at 15:10.

Thanks for the cache and greetings from Denmark!

infoThis is the original cache type consisting, at a bare minimum, a container and a log book. Normally you'll find a tupperware container, ammo box, or bucket filled with goodies, or smaller container ("micro cache") too small to contain items except for a log book. The coordinates listed on the traditional cache page is the exact location for the cache.
