Found it DK_Titan found Peppermint Ice Cream - IQT

Sunday, May 26, 2013Idaho

Our main purpose of visiting Mountain Home was the gigantic Locomotive Geo-Art, but today we decided to do something else (in order to be ready for completing that series tomorrow). That was good timing, as it turned out that the desert was hit by heavy rain (and probably also thunder) today. We spent most of the day east of the bad weather visiting caches, which required relatively little walking. When the rain caught up with us we headed back towards Mountain Home. In the evening we did a bit of sightseeing in downtown Mountain Home (finding a bunch of caches there).

We enjoyed the day but also had an unpleasant experience. As we signed the log books of three of the caches, we found today, we noticed our own name already in the log book (written five days earlier). As we had not found any caches in that series before, someone must have moved the container from another series in the area (most likely the Top 100 series). It makes us sad, that some geocachers are so focused on numbers and statistics, that they are ready to bend the rules completely out of shape... In our opinion that has nothing to do with geocaching!

This cache was found at 11:49.

Thanks for the cache and greetings from Denmark!

infoThis is the original cache type consisting, at a bare minimum, a container and a log book. Normally you'll find a tupperware container, ammo box, or bucket filled with goodies, or smaller container ("micro cache") too small to contain items except for a log book. The coordinates listed on the traditional cache page is the exact location for the cache.
