Gather round, children, while I relate my tale...

I'd hunted the demon beast for three days, but the first two days she only led me in circles around her den, toying with my determination. On the morning of the third day, I know I'd get her. Orangeheaded monsters with steel teeth chewed away at the trees as I began my journey, telling of a fate should I fail. The wind howled and bit through my clothes, but I pressed on despite the chill. Few moments of peace were all I was alloted as I drew closer. As I crested a rise, my sight was flooded by a piercing white - I thought I'd died. But no, this was her domain, and I knew it well. I crossed the swollen river gingerly - fearing the rapids below. I found her den, exactly in the same place I had before. Hunting revealed nothing, but I would not give up. Those watching over me led me west of the den, closer to the river. She was not there. I returned, near ready to give up my chase - but there! 35 feet east of her den, I saw the hellcat chained up like the wild beast she was. I charged, dug her out from the niche she'd concealed herself in and held her high by her neck, proclaiming to the world -- I FOUND WHITE TIGER!!!!

And about time! Ground zero was in the same place it was in Sept - about 30-40 feet away from the cache. Not sure if it was just my GPS or what, but hey, found it nonetheless. Took chapstick (really needed it) and left the GeoCoin.

Thanks for the great hunt and the wonderful 15 mile (total) hike.

Slide MountainA breathtaking view.
