Found it the.james.gang found Al's stash at tri-area

Friday, September 14, 2007Washington

FTF at 7:00am! Quite an adventure! CJ convinced MJ at 6:00am that we should try to get the FTFs for Al's Stash and Jack's Stash. He was ready for school, so MJ just changed clothes and we left.

After starting down the wrong trail, went back and tried another trail. Understood the hint, but looking for it when it's barely light out, you're under tree cover, and forgot a flashlight wasn't easy. Looked for 30 minutes, deciding whether to abandon and look for Jack's or continue (we were on a time schedule!). Decided to look for about 5 more minutes and CJ finds it!! Having lost the trail we came in on, we started walking on the one closest to the cache, thinking we were headed back to the car. (I really need to remember to "mark" our car when we do these - and be better at using the GPS for more than just locating a cache!)

After wandering in the woods, came upon some houses. Decided to follow the trail that went along the backs of the houses. After coming to a barbed wire fence, climbing over and following a gravel road, we finally ended up on Anderson Lake Road!! (Story continues with Jack's Stash at HJ) Received a cut from a branch and a blister, but at least we got the FTF, so it's all good! T geocoins. L Moose's First Geocoin and ATV TB. TFTH!

infoThis is the original cache type consisting, at a bare minimum, a container and a log book. Normally you'll find a tupperware container, ammo box, or bucket filled with goodies, or smaller container ("micro cache") too small to contain items except for a log book. The coordinates listed on the traditional cache page is the exact location for the cache.
