Found it DK_Titan found keele TB HOTEL north

Monday, July 22, 2013West Midlands, United Kingdom

It has been almost three years since our last geocaching vacation in the UK, but we have many times talked about coming back to this beautiful country and it's public footpaths. On all our previous trips we had to rely on public transportation, but this time we rented a car, which gave us much more flexibility to plan each day trip.

Today was the first day of our trip. We arrived in Birmingham International Airport and headed North towards Blackburn. After checking into our hotel near Blackburn we took a small evening walk just South of Darwen. It was great to be back on the English Public Footpaths and the only slightly annoying thing was the biting insects...

On our way along the M6 we made a stop at this rest rea and located the cache at 13:16.

Thanks for the cache and greetings from Denmark!

infoThis is the original cache type consisting, at a bare minimum, a container and a log book. Normally you'll find a tupperware container, ammo box, or bucket filled with goodies, or smaller container ("micro cache") too small to contain items except for a log book. The coordinates listed on the traditional cache page is the exact location for the cache.
