It has been almost three years since our last geocaching vacation in the UK, but we have many times talked about coming back to this beautiful country and it's public footpaths. On all our previous trips we had to rely on public transportation, but this time we rented a car, which gave us much more flexibility to plan each day trip.
Today was day five of our trip and we were blessed with brilliant weather for hiking: A lot of sunshine, almost no wind and temperatures in the range of 20-22°C. The goal of the day was to complete the Walsden Section of the WWW-series. We parked the car a bit South of Walsden and took the series clockwise. At 7 o'clock in the evening we arrived at our car again after another memorable day of hiking in a landscape very different from what you would find in Denmark. All of the caches in the Walsden Section had a terrain rating of 1,5, so it came as bit of a surprise to us, how many steep hills we had to climb. Anyway, we enjoyed walking through moorlands, valleys and on top of ridges and hills. According to our GPS'r the total walking distance of the day was 23 km.

Thanks for the cache and greetings from Denmark!
