FTF @ 11:55am

We'd seen this one come out while still back in the UK planning some caches for our short vacation in Iceland and as it had still not been found this morning, we thought it would make an excellent stop on a drive round the coast of south west Iceland, taking in the sights (and caches, of course).

We parked close to the cache and then had a short walk in light snow over to GZ and a quick find once we'd removed the rock that was frozen to it's surroundings over the cache.

Extracting it proved a bit trickier as it would not fit through the hole but a bit of deft manoevering with the arctic moss below and the cache was ours.

We were delighted to see we were FTF and left some geocoins and TB's to celebrate. As it's not far from Keflavik airport we hope they will continue on their journey's far and wide very soon.

Sarah, Isaac & Freya with the cache

infoThis is the original cache type consisting, at a bare minimum, a container and a log book. Normally you'll find a tupperware container, ammo box, or bucket filled with goodies, or smaller container ("micro cache") too small to contain items except for a log book. The coordinates listed on the traditional cache page is the exact location for the cache.
