Found it The Bolas Heathens found Haughmond Abbey

Saw this one come out just as I was wishing we'd been out caching today so it was a no-brainer about dashing out to find it.

I was going to park at the start of the PF but spotted the field the PF goes over was full of sheep and did not wanted to frighten the livestock with my torch so opted for the Forestry Commission car park and a walk down their path through the woods to the cache.

The cache was a quick find by torchlight. I could just about pick out Haughmond Abbey on the walk back to the Jeep with my torch.

We've been for a look round the Abbey before and really enjoyed it - well worth stopping to look round if you have the time.

Self portrait with the cache

infoThis is the original cache type consisting, at a bare minimum, a container and a log book. Normally you'll find a tupperware container, ammo box, or bucket filled with goodies, or smaller container ("micro cache") too small to contain items except for a log book. The coordinates listed on the traditional cache page is the exact location for the cache.
