I stumbled across something while googling the indicated location and that led me to the answer. It wasn't something I knew that much about really so it was all very interesting. I was the first through the checker (and I don't think there was another one until last night).

By now we were getting to a point that NJT and CM hadn't reached yesterday, and were continuing on hopeful of some FTFs. We hadn't heard any more shotguns since our mishaps at #6 - had the rain driven them off? We also didn't seem to be getting any wetter either.

This was another quick find. We took the FTF certificate and signed the log - very pleased to be first. After packing the cache away we had walked a short distance away and then I remembered I'd forgotten to take the bonus information. So I had to return and take it all out again.

infoA Mystery Cache is the “catch-all” of cache types, this form of cache can involve complicated puzzles you will first need to solve to determine the coordinates. The only commonality of this cache type is that the coordinates listed are not of the actual cache location but a general reference point, such as a nearby parking location. Due to the increasing creativity of geocaching this becomes the staging ground for new and unique challenges.
