Yesterday my GPS died, so, while I would normally welcome three new nearby caches, the timing seemed at first to be unfortunate. But then I remembered I still had an old GPS. But could I find it? Would it still work? Could I remember how to operate it? Would the old technology be up to it? Well, the answer to all these questions would prove to be "YES!". So out into miserable, damp, almost drizzling, overcast day I went.

I parked up at Coldharbour and decided to do them in order, leaving the hardest to last, after I had had a chance to reacquaint myself with my ancient GPS. However, it performed well, bringing me to GZ where the hint soon had me homed it.

infoThis is the original cache type consisting, at a bare minimum, a container and a log book. Normally you'll find a tupperware container, ammo box, or bucket filled with goodies, or smaller container ("micro cache") too small to contain items except for a log book. The coordinates listed on the traditional cache page is the exact location for the cache.
