This was handily placed right on my route home from the nearby new Stafford cache so I stopped by to have a look for it. As I went up the steps there was a sign about the work being done on the path but no sign of any work being started yet so it's ok to go and find the cache.

As I approached GZ I spotted a guy stood nearby watching the animals in the field below and initially thought it may be another cacher. I decided to find the cache first and see if he had signed the log - he hadn't .

By the time I had put the cache back, he had disappeared so I never did find out if he was a cacher. Liked the view from the cache over the fields towards Gnosall .

I thought the cache container was a little flimsy and might not last long in the wild - it might be an idea to replace it with a stronger plastic lock 'n' lock container at some point as they are waterproof and make good, durable cache containers.

Congratulations on your first cache hide - a nice one.

Self portrait with the cache

infoThis is the original cache type consisting, at a bare minimum, a container and a log book. Normally you'll find a tupperware container, ammo box, or bucket filled with goodies, or smaller container ("micro cache") too small to contain items except for a log book. The coordinates listed on the traditional cache page is the exact location for the cache.
