Found it DK_Titan found #87 100+ Day

Wednesday, May 14, 2014Florida

It has become a tradition that we make a yearly geocaching road trip in the US. It's the fifth year in a row that we do so, but the first time we visit the Eastern part of the country – starting in Miami and ending in Boston. This year's trip brought us through 17 states and one Canadian province.

Today was the fifth day of our trip. The hotel-to-hotel distance (Tampa – Lake City) was short, and we could have arrived at our destination in 2½ hours, but we made it a full day trip mostly along byways rather than the Interstate. We spent quite some time North of Gainesville finding a good bunch of caches in the Celebrity Run series and the 100+ Day series. When we continued towards our hotel in the evening, the dark sky was frequently illuminated and by light flashes, and we realized that we were heading towards a rather heavy thunderstorm. Luckily the rain was kind enough to wait until we had checked into our hotel and were sitting at a fast food restaurant for a late dinner.

This cache was found at 18:48.

Thanks for the cache and greetings from Denmark!

infoThis is the original cache type consisting, at a bare minimum, a container and a log book. Normally you'll find a tupperware container, ammo box, or bucket filled with goodies, or smaller container ("micro cache") too small to contain items except for a log book. The coordinates listed on the traditional cache page is the exact location for the cache.
